Sleeps 6
The second cottage was named in honour of the enormous local duck population, that contributes to the fine regional cuisine. It also reflects the need to ‘duck’ at the front door before you step down into the house.
It too has wonderful views across the countryside, as well as looking out over our boules area. The opening shot of thispack is taken from the terrace
The property is arranged over three floors
The ground floor offers a newly fitted and fully equipped galley kitchen, a double bedroom with ensuite shower /wc and a further shower and wc off the kitchen. The kitchen then leads out onto the terrace.
The middle floor is given entirely over to the lounge and dining room with dual aspect to the front and back of the property. This room has particular significance for the village. It was the old midwife’s house and all of the over sixties born in Nadaillac de Rouge were delivered in this room. The living room has two sofas and a farm house table and chairs along with a beautiful wood burner and its original stone sink
Finally on the third floor there is a large bedroom which can be used as a double, twin or triple room along with a small single room (the pictures depict the room as a double and as a twin but it can be house an additional third bed if desired)
